Going through your Local Authority is not the only way to access temporary accommodation though. Generally most places can be accessed via referral from various social support agencies and some providers accept self-referrals.
C.A.S.S. offers temporary supported accommodation through the 'Specialist Housing Scheme', the 'Fell House' and 'SMART Projects' and the 'C47 - Young Person's Scheme'. Detailed information of about these schemes can be found in the 'Our Services' section.
