About C.A.S.S.
Partnerships with other agencies
C.A.S.S. has always worked in partnership with other agencies. We believe in putting people at the centre and assisting them to build a support network around themselves , hence establishing, maintaining and developing partnerships with other agencies which provide much needed complementary support services, is very much our ethos. Many of the people we work with have some history of offending behaviour and as such, we have a close working relationship with the Probation Service throughout Cumbria who also fund some of our work. We also ensure that we have good working relationships with a range of other agencies and we help our service users to access the services these agencies have to offer. We work closely with local housing providers (mainly Registered Social Landlords), other supported accommodation providers, Local Authority homelessness departments, advisory and support services for those with alcohol and other drug related difficulties and other general and specialist support and advice agencies.
