Film Project
The Film Project started as collaboration between the Creative Outreach Project (University of Cumbria) the Cumbria Film Collective and the SMART project (C.A.S.S.). There are several aims of this project as follows; to create opportunities for enrolment into further education, structured social interaction, creative output and good relationship building with service users and staff.
The other aim of this project is to sow the seeds of an activity which would continue after the involvement of the University and the Film Collective ended.
We have the means to carry on shooting short films, video-blogs, interviews and documentaries. Some of the staff have received training on editing with our own computers and software and have also made good links with supportive individuals and organizations.
