About C.A.S.S.
The committee
In a nutshell the committee ultimately decides what C.A.S.S. does or doesn’t do – it decides the direction of the project. The committee take the major decisions on what kind of services the project provides, what kind of services we would like to provide (if we can get the funding to do so) and oversees the project’s finances including setting the annual budget. It is also responsible for ensuring that the project keeps within the law particularly those rules given to us by the Charities Commission.
Our committee members are all volunteers – some give up their own time to serve on the committee and others come from other agencies but all contribute to the development of C.A.S.S.. This mix of people brings in the wide range of skills we require to have a well run charity.
